About Us
Dr Mashala is a qualified Optometrist and completed his Bachelor of Optometry at the University of Limpopo. He has more than 5 years of experience as a practicing Optometrist and worked in Government and the Private Sector.
He 1st started his own practice in 2010 and practiced under the name D.G Mashala Optometry before deciding to start the Branded Business SpeXtacular Optometry. He believes that starting a Branded Practice would give him a better competitive advantage and a broader scope in Marketing exposure. He is both passionate about the Optometry Profession and business and further believes that SpeXtacular will afford him the opportunity to enjoy and explore both in a mutual manner. The plan is to later franchise SpeXtacular and take it nationally now that he has the experience in working in three of the 9 Provinces in SA.
Bearing in mind that the Optometry Industry is fiercely competitive and highly regulated, we (SpeXtacular Optometry) are set on focusing on Customer Loyalty Strategies and Customer Retention Strategies while ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction through conscious customer relationship management. We further believe that customer satisfaction will lead to stronger repurchase behaviour securing our place in this competitive market. On the outset we believe that customer satisfaction is one of the most important factors in Customer Retention, which will consequently result in healthy Return on Investment, making our business not only profitable, but also a sustainable business enabling us to provide employment in our chosen industry.
